Friends for life

I have the bestest friends in the world. We were all newlyweds when we met at church in 2002. We used get together and play games on monday night when we lived close together. Now we all have kids, Juile is moving to Japan soon for 2 years, and Carla lives 30 min away in Castlerock. Travis and Julie were in town before they leave so we got everyone together to celebrate Lukes birthday(julie's son) I love you guys thankyou for your friendship.

Amanda and I just got done with breakfast. I was cleaning up she ran off. she came back with my purse and her coat. she said "mom bye bye" meaning let go bye bye. It was 7:30 in the morning and we weren't dressed yet.

It was my birthday on the 6th. We had a party with family and friends. My cake was ice cream cake. yummy.

Grandpa Riggs in town

Carson's dad came to visit. We went to the city park in pueblo for a picnic, and rides. Here we are on the train ride that went all around the park.

Go Karts

Carson got to go race go carts for work, Amanda and I went to watch and take pictures. It started to rain so we were waiting for it to clear up and we put Amanda in a kids kart and she was ready to go!!! The go karts are real racing karts that go about 60mph on a street course it was a blast!!!

ZOO

My mom I took the kids to the zoo. It was a nice day to be at the zoo. Amanda liked feeding the giraffes.

I was getting ready to go the store. I told Amanda let's go bye bye. She ran to her room and got her purse. I thought it was too funny. Now she loves taking it with her.

In other news Carson got promoted twice at work he is now a team lead. That means he is a manager responsible for helping and training newer reps he also got a nice raise.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter eggs, Amanda was so happy with how pretty the eggs turned out.

Shed / Nursery

Here is an update on Carsons shed. He has all the walls up and wrapped with tarpaper. He is going to put in two doors. I am thankful that he is so handy.

Oh boy it's Amanda's first day in Nursery. We took her in, and she ran right to the boat and got in. When we left we said bye and her quick reply was BYE!!! She did great and we are so excited to really pay attention in class.

Amanda likes playing with cars but the cars don't make noise, so she does it for them.

Kelli got the puzzle for Amanda for chirstmas. I took it out see what she would do. she did okay with the picese.Thank you kelli for the puzzle.

The weather here has been soo nice. I have been taking Amanda to parks, walks and feed the ducks and geese. The geese would come right up to us.

Hockey

This is one of my favorite outfits I got for Amanda at a garage sale.

Brian one of Carsons friends from work at Cbeyond is a professional inline hockey player for the Colorado Thunder. We went to one of their games it was alot of fun they won both games that they played, Brian scored 5 of the 14 goals and had a handful of assists. After the game we came down onto the rink and got some pictures. I think we might be hooked!!
Amanda had lots of fun clapping and screaming at least here no one cares how loud she gets:)

After church on sunday Amanda finished eating and CRASHED dead asleep she slept in her high chair for at least an hour, it was just too cute!

Park Time

Carson had the day off we went to the park.

You can't see but Amanda has on the cutest glittery red shoes to match the antennas on her head! Mom dressed her up just for valentines day.

I got Amanda 2 heart balloons for v-day. She loves them! she walks all over the house with them.

I have been picking up my nephew, Jacob from school since my mom is in Utah. Amanda likes to play with him and follow him around the house.
